OUR MISSION
On behalf the Montalvo staff, welcome to the 2025-26 school year. Our award-winning Dual Language Education (DLE) program and innovative arts magnet, paired with ongoing professional development, give us the tools we need to provide an enriched and affirming learning environment for all children. At Montalvo, we focus on academic rigor and high expectations, positive behavior support, preparedness for the 21st century, as well as student safety.

Les damos la bienvenida al año escolar 2025-26. Nuestro galardonado programa de Educación Bilingüe (DLE) y nuestra innovadora escuela magnet de artes, junto con el desarollo profesional continuo, nos brindan las herramientas necesarias para brindar un entorno de aprendizaje enriquecedor y positivo para todos los niños. En Montalvo, nos centramos en el rigor académico y las altas expectativas, el apoyo al comportamiento positivo, la preparación para el siglo XXI y la seguridad estudiantil.

November 2: Daylight Savings (clocks roll back one hour)
November 3: Back to school. Please be punctual! School of choice information night at Buena 5:30 pm.
November 7: School of choice window opens at 9am. Spirit wear deadline!
November 5: Makenna Koffee fundraiser: Flyer provided below.
November 11: No School. Veteran's day. Skating Plus fundraiser 12-4pm.
November 12: PTA Dine out at The Habit 4-9PM.
November 17: SOC information night at Montalvo 5:30 pm.
November 18: School Site Council meeting. ELAC meeting 5:30-6:30 pm.
November 20: School tour 9-10am (please call to RSVP)
November 21: School tour 8-9am (please call to RSVP)
November 19-25: Fall conferences/ Early dismissal.
November 26-28: No school. Thanksgiving break.
December 1: School of choice window closes at 4pm.
